This course option delivers the Remote Pilots Licence (RePL - Multi-Rotor) allowing you to fly RPA up to 25kg, both during the day and night.  As more and more pilots qualify for their sub-7kg, and the industry explodes with new technology and work, demand for pilots is increasing rapidly, as is the demand for more versatile pilots who can handle tasking day or night. Having your 25kg, AROC and NVLOS puts you out in front.

Jobs in Agriculture are a typical example, as are large scale wildlife population monitoring (Night), surveys, mapping, and all manner of jobs that require specialist pilot training.  These are all there for the taking - but only if you can fly larger RPA and accept night work.

To study for your RePL licence, you will be required to attend our live Teams video sessions held fortnightly over 2 consecutive days, combined with self-paced online learning to further your knowledge. Once you have completed all the pre-requisite units, you will attend your practical flight training assessment and CASA theory exam at one of our venues across Australia.

3. RBMO - Basic Meteorology for RPAS operations

6. RKOP - RPAS Knowledge, Operations and Procedures
7. RORA - Operational Rules and Air Law for RPAS
8. RAFM - Automated Flight Systems for RPAS
9. RBKM - Basic RPAS Multi-Rotor Knowledge
 
Your learner portal will also include your learning materials and knowledge checks for you NVLOS and AROC.

If you've attended the theory classes, you can book your practical venue. We hold courses nationwide regularly, so ask us, or pick the closest to you. At this venue, you'll sit your CASA RePL theory exam and AROC exam, then we start flying.
 
You'll complete a minimum of 5 hours flying our aircraft if you have no flight time at all. If you do bring some experience, this may shorten the amount time required for us to flight test you. As soon as your examiner is confident, you're at the required level, they will assess you. Once you have completed this, you will move onto your 25kg and night flight training.
